This is Kim and Calla’s go to breakfast when a smoothie is not on the menu. It’s rich, creamy and a tad sweet, has no wheat and no dairy, and it’s packed with protein and heart loving oats!
Makes one large Serving
1/2 cup Organic Rolled Oats
1 cup Organic Almond Milk
1 Organic Banana
Pinch of a Pink Himalayan Salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 - 1 tsp Pure Maple Syrup
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Hemp Hearts
In a small pot combine Oats and Almond Milk. Bring to a boil, then turn heat down to low add the rest of the ingredients, smashing banana with potato smasher or fork. Cook for a couple of minutes until the oats absorb most of the liquid. Remove form heat and let sit another minute or two, allowing the oats to absorb rest of liquid then serve.
